Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Mike Florio notes, the first part is a little odd because no one is reporting, or has reported, that Manning has been released. In fact, no current players from teams whose seasons have ended can be released until after the Super Bowl. As for the second part? It leave plenty of wiggle room. Whatever the case, Florio predicts that
Manning's future will be the dominant story line of the week before the Super Bowl, rivaling the coverage of the game that will be played in seven days and eclipsing any of the feel-good angles emerging from the host city of Indianapolis. That seems like a safe bet. So stay tuned.
