According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen quoting a team source, Spagnuolo and Devaney will be fired. There was no time frame given on when this would take place.

A recent report suggested that if the Chargers fired general manager A.J. Smith, he would take the Rams general manager position and then hire Jon Gruden as his head coach. Gruden refuted that story and said that he would be remaining at ESPN where he has recently signed a new five-year contract. As for Smith staying in San Diego, that decision is said to still be up in the air. This same report also suggested that if Spagnuolo leaves the Rams, he has a defensive coordinator position all but sewn up in Philadelphia.
