The Rams have fired HC Steve Spagnuolo. ESPN reported last night that Spagnuolo and G.M. Billy Devaney would be let go on Monday, and now it’s happened. NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi reports that Devaney is also gone.

According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, former Titans head coach Jeff Fisher will be on owner Stan Kroenke's wish list. Previous reports suggested a package of Chargers G.M. A.J. Smith and ESPN analyst Jon Gruden coming to St. Louis, but Chargers president Dean Spanos will take a few days to make a decision on Smith's future and Gruden denied any interest in returning to coaching. Whatever the case, we have four jobs open: Jacksonville, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Miami. As Profootballtalk.com suggests, of those four situations, the Rams have the most promising quarterback and the best draft pick.
