Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has confirmed that Mendenhall has a torn ACL in his right knee. The only good news is there is no other damage. He will have surgery in 1-2 weeks.

Isaac Redman, who rushed for 92 yards against the Browns, and rookie John Clay, on the practice squad two weeks ago, are the team's only healthy running backs. Veteran Mewelde Moore, who missed the past two games with a MCL sprain in his knee, could return for the playoff game in Denver. Redman, however, is clearly the best play for those heading into post-season Fantasy contests and tournaments.
