But the Titans are beginning to line up replacements, according to Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean. Per Wyatt, Donnie Avery and Buster Davis are possible candidates. As PFT's Mike Florio suggests, it could be that the Titans have decided to keep the truth about Britt under wraps until they can get a replacement signed. Another possibility could be the addition of a receiver via trade. In that regard, keeping the official word on Britt’s status a secret could make it easier to get a deal done. Besides, we can’t think of any team that currently is trying to dump via trade a wideout who would be good enough to make a difference in Tennessee.
