Panthers HC Ron Rivera hasn’t ruled out bringing Moore back to Carolina. Rivera said Friday “Moore can get involved in our quarterback situation,” according to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer.

Moore is 26 years old and has only started 13 career games. Still, he's part of an unusually solid second tier of QBs that will be available this offseason. might be of interest to Miami, where Chad Henne has failed to earn the confidence of coaches (and Fantasy Football owners). Whatever the case, Rosenthal summed it up nicely: "Coming off shoulder surgery, Moore is an interesting pickup for a team looking for a backup with some experience and upside. He’s just not a great fit for the Panthers."
