The Facts:
Following up on
the ongoing story. ... Michael Vick has been organizing workouts for the Eagles’ offensive skill position players over the last couple of weeks. But on Thursday it wasn’t Vick running the show. It was the man Vick replaced as the Eagles’ starting QB -- and probably pushed out of town. Kolb was back in Philadelphia and throwing to teammates, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
McLane writes that Kolb didn’t have much to say about his situation, which is understandable as Kolb doesn’t know much about his situation. What we all know, is the Eagles appear to be dead set on trading him when the lockout ends. But as PFT's Michael David Smith notes, nobody can say for sure when that will be, where he might be traded, or how likely it is that the Eagles will decide to hold onto him as Vick’s backup. According to ESPN, Kolb, who has requested a trade from the Eagles so he can be a starter next season, did tell reporters that HC Andy Reid told him in a text message: "I'll do what's best for you" once the lockout ends. ... For now, Fantasy Football owners should note that Kolb is motivated enough to get on the field with a team he's unlikely to be with once the league year begins. It's a good sign. ... For the record: Vick skipped the workout for a speaking engagement.
