The Facts:
Remember Darrelle Revis calling Moss a slouch? Well, those two could soon have the chance to settle it in practice. At least, those are the whispers out there, and listening to Jets owner Woody Johnson talk, it's not hard to see some reality there. "There's no question that Randy Moss has the capability, has the God-given talent to be a superstar, and he has been a superstar, particularly with the Patriots," Johnson said this week. "That's about all I can say about him, other than I admire his skill and what he's accomplished during those years."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Johnson said that the Jets have worked on "scenario development" the last few weeks, preparing for a potentially frantic free-agent period, whenever the 2011 league year begins. It will be even more frantic for the Jets, with Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards headlining their list of free agents. According to NFL Network insider Albert Breer, the Jets fully expect to keep Holmes, but Edwards could be a different story, and Brad Smith is also a free agent. So having Moss as a backup plan, or even to compete against Edwards here, might not be a bad play -- for the Jets. For Fantasy Football owners? That's a whole different story.
