Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Bucs have invested heavily at the defensive tackle position but they desperately need an edge rusher to keep teams from sliding protections to DT Gerald McCoy. Clayborn fits the bill. According to his
NFL.com scouting report, Clayborn has the ability to be a very good starting DE. Smart, instinctual player, especially against the run. As a pass rusher, uses his hands and power to take a direct route to the quarterback. As the Sports Xchange notes, the Bucs want a duo like Warren Sapp and Simeon Rice on one side. Meanwhile, veteran DE Stylez White led the Bucs in sacks with 4.5 last season, which is pretty bad for the premier pass-rush position. Clayborn on the other side should help.
