The Facts:
Johnson is the fastest player in the history of the NFL Scouting Combine. And now he says he’s ready to take his speed to the track. Specifically, Johnson said that in a lockout he’d try to become a two-sport athlete and run track professionally. “Boy they need to let me kno what’s gonna happen with this NFL lockout cause if they do ima join the us track team,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Unfortunately for Johnson, being the fastest player in the NFL doesn’t necessarily translate to being able to make a living in track and field. As PFT's Michael David Smith explained, even though Johnson is "really, really fast," he’s not as fast as an Olympic sprinter. When Johnson was in high school he ran a 10.50-second 100-meter dash and a 21.30-second 200-meter dash. Smith summed up: "Those are very good times for a high school kid, but they’re not world-class times."
