The Giants liked Moss’ dynamic abilities as a receiver and return man so much that they traded up in the 2006 draft to get him. His career in New York, though, just never got off the ground. And now it’s over. Reported by the New York Daily News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Moss, the 5-8, 185-pound receiver was officially waived off the Giants’ injured reserve list today, presumably with an injury settlement. He had been out all year after undergoing surgery for a sports hernia. Now, if he plays again in the NFL, it’ll be someplace else.
