The Facts:
Following up on a previous item. ... A CT scan on Tuesday morning revealed Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will not need surgery for his broken left clavicle, multiple sources told ESPN.com on Tuesday. Romo will be sidelined six to eight weeks, with the longer time period more likely, sources said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It is possible that Romo will not play again this season since that timetable would not permit him to return to the lineup until mid-December. At that point, the Cowboys would probably be inclined to hold Romo out to avoid the potential of him re-injuring the shoulder, unless backup Jon Kitna puts the Cowboys in playoff contention during Romo's absence. Stranger things have happened, but a Cowboys turnaround seems unlikely.
