The Facts:
Following up on an ongoing story. ... HC Sean Payton acknowledged Monday he and all the Saints are frustrated with Thomas inability to bounce back more quickly, but Payton declined to address whether he had expressed displeasure to Thomas or was making plans for the Saints offense regardless of Thomas' health, as Sunday's report alleged.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
On the other hand, Payton did not deny the accuracy of the initial report, by FOXSports insider Jay Glazer, repeatedly saying that whatever discussions may have taken place between him and Thomas would remain confined to the principals and the organization. ... Worth noting: Thomas' agent, Lamont Smith, spoke on a local radio show Monday afternoon and said his client had suffered a high ankle sprain. But when told Payton had on more than one occasion stated explicitly that Thomas' injury was not a high ankle sprain, Smith backtracked a bit. "If Sean Payton said it's not a high ankle sprain then let that be the official line," Smith said. Still, safe to say Smith made his point.
