Chargers Not Interested In Trading Vincent Jackson
(6/24 12:24 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on an ongoing story. ... The Seattle Seahawks called the Chargers regarding their disgruntled wideout, but the Chargers were not interested.  Reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Union-Tribune staffer Kevin Acee is told the Chargers will not trade Jackson. In case you missed it, all indications are Jackson, a restricted free agent in search of a long-term deal, will not sign with the Chargers until after the season’s 10th game. He would sign then in order to get in the six games necessary to earn an accrued season. Given all that, Acee argues a trade makes sense, explaining it like this: "If [the Chargers] believe [Jackson is] staying out until mid-November, which everyone close to the situation does, why not get a high pick or players and a high pick for him?" Stay tuned. This is going to be a major storyline throughout the summer.
