According to Kathleen Nelson of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, HC Steve Spagnuolo has reaffirmed that Feeley is the Rams starting QB -for now. "It would be an injustice to (rookie) Sam [Bradford] and the rest of the team [to set a timetable]," Spagnuolo said.

The Rams are trying to resist the recent trends of playing highly drafted quarterbacks from day one of the regular season. Key factors affecting Bradford's readiness are that he has played little football since 2008 due to injuries, he did not play in a pro-style offense in college, and concerns that until the offensive line jells he could injure his shoulder again. "He's in the early stages of developing as an NFL quarterback," Spagnuolo said of Bradford, the No. 1 pick overall in April's draft. "He came into the league far advanced from some quarterbacks I've worked with. We'll do first what's right for the team and second what's right for Sam. ..." Will Bradford be ready by Week 1? We believe he'll be the starter sooner rather than later, but it doesn't sound like the Rams will rush him.
