The Facts:
Unhappy with his contract, Johnson has been missing from Titans headquarters all offseason -- 11 practices and counting. The coaches say they are missing precious time to build on Johnson's starring role in the offense. "Not only has he missed the conditioning, but from an offensive standpoint he hasn't had a day with his new running backs coach," said HC Jeff Fisher, referring to Kennedy Pola, who replaced the fired Earnest Byner. "So he's missed a lot. … He'll have some catching up to do. ..."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While OC Mike Heimerdinger has remained in touch with Johnson -- weekly texts and occasional phone chats -- the coach will have to wait until his prize pupil returns before installing plans to expand his role in the offense. "I am not worried about overworking him," Heimerdinger said. "We'll see how far he can go on the stuff we've put in, and we'll try to get him caught up. ..." As for learning new wrinkles in the game plan, Johnson isn't worried. "We got a long camp," he said. "We got a whole month of camp before the first game. We got a whole preseason so that should help. It won't be a problem. ..." Teammates agree. "He has been playing football his whole life, and we are very confident he has been working out,' receiver Nate Washington said. ... We also agree -- as long as Johnson shows up during training camp. Stay tuned.
