When a high-profile player shows up for voluntary workouts after a lengthy absence, as Lynch did this week, there's an assumption he'll be with the team for good. That's not necessarily the case. Lynch finally joined his teammates on the practice field Tuesday and spoke with reporters. By Thursday's workout, he was gone again.

The Bills did not elaborate on the reason for Lynch's absence and whether it was prearranged. But ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Lynch missed Buffalo's OTA today to fly to Dallas to be a groomsman in wedding of Seahawks RB Justin Forsett. ... Buffalo has voluntary workouts next Monday and Tuesday before opening mandatory mini-camp Wednesday. We'll see where Lynch is then.
