The Facts:
Steve Slaton has the monster rookie year under his belt. Ben Tate has the second round pedigree. Foster, however, owns the spot atop the Texans running back depth chart -- at least for now. "Arian gives us the size, and he made good decisions at the end of last year," RBs coach Chick Harris told AOL's Dan Graziano. "I think we're in a good spot with Arian starting it off, but I also think Steve Slaton will contribute for us in a lot of ways. As far as youth and talent, I think this is the best group we've had, if we can just keep them healthy."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to the Houston Chronicle, Foster was the starter throughout OTAs and built upon his strong showing at the end of last season. But Slaton, who appeared lighter and quicker than he did last season, is breathing down his neck. Slaton is still recovering from neck surgery, but HC Gary Kubiak said he is expected to be 100 percent by the start of training camp. ... Meanwhile, second-round pick Ben Tate was sidelined with a hamstring injury during most of OTAs but closed with several strong practices. We still expect Tate and Slaton to be the first two in line for work come Week 1, but Foster could make it interesting.
