Cribbs Hopes Terrell Owens Lands In Cleveland
(5/14 2:30 PT)

The Facts:
During a live chat on NFL.com, Josh Cribbs was asked where he thinks Owens, an unrestricted free agent, will land in 2010. "Hopefully in Cleveland," Cribbs replied. "I think he's got a little bit left in the tank. He'll eventually be with a team in training camp. T.O. is going to go to a team once they figure out what these rookies are made of." Reported by the Canton Repository

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
But Cleveland? Well. ... During a stop in Canton on Monday, HC Eric Mangini said the Browns will consider adding a veteran wide receiver if he is "the right fit." As Repository staffer Steve Doerschuk suggests, it's debatable whether Mangini's wildest dreams include Owens in an orange helmet but Cribbs seems to be sold. We'll go ahead and note the Browns ranked last in the NFL in 2009 passing offense. They have no proven wide receivers, including Cribbs, who started most of the games at the position in 2009.
