Hackett is one of four free-agent wide receivers who will try out for the Ravens on Friday. The names of the other three wide receivers have not been confirmed.

Hackett, 28, was released by the Panthers after catching 13 passes for 181 yards and no touchdowns last season. The 6-2, 208-pound WR turned down a tryout with the Ravens earlier this offseason because he was dealing with his wife's pregnancy. The Ravens are looking to add some depth in the wake of Derrick Mason's retirement. Mason is expected to meet this week with HC John Harbaugh and there are still those who believe the veteran WR can be persuaded to return. We shall see.
