Following up on an ongoing story. ... Mark Rosen of WCCO reports that, indeed, the Vikings and Favre have agreed to terms on a contract, and that Favre will attend training camp. Rosen also confirms PFT's report that purple jerseys bearing Favre’s number and name already have been ordered.

As noted above, Rosen's report confirms
a previous PFT report. We'll obviously have to wait for an official announcement, but as SI.com's Peter King wrote on Monday, "Whether Favre has agreed to a contract or not there is universal agreement among those close to Favre that the money is either done or absolutely not going to be a problem. Favre's playing for Minnesota if his right arm feels OK by month's end." We couldn't agree more.
