The Facts:
Favre appeared on the new HBO show “Joe Buck Live” in his first public appearance since retiring from the Jets in February. Favre told viewers he is considering coming out of retirement for a second time and the only team he has talked to about a return to the NFL is the Vikings. Favre said he has had contact with the Vikings, but “nothing more than are you interested.”

Favre also confirmed he had surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago on his throwing arm. He says the doctor who performed the surgery on his biceps told him it would take four to five weeks for the NFL’s career leader in touchdown passes to know if the procedure was a success. ... Also worth noting: In explaining the Vikings were the only team he might be interested in playing for -- primarily because the Vikings run the same offense the Packers did throughout Favre's career -- the veteran signal caller referred to the team as "we." Said Favre of the club: "In that situation, understanding what’s expected of you, knowing your team and knowing we can run the ball and complete passes, we should be pretty good. ...” The "we" pretty much says it all. Favre returns -- shoulder willing. Stay tuned.
