Greene has agreed to terms on his first NFL contract. Terms were not disclosed. Typically, a third-rounder gets a slotted signing bonus and minimum base salaries. The Jets announced the move earlier this afternoon.

The Jets moved up to the top of round three to draft Greene, making him the first pick of the second day of the draft. Now, with Thomas Jones and Leon Washington each angling for new deals, the Jets have -- as PFT's Mike Florio suggested, "the Jets now have at least one running back under contract who doesn’t have a stick up his a**." It's a good point.
