A little disappointed? The Houston Chronicle reported Sunday that the Texans had offered Daniels a contract that would make him one of the highest-paid tight ends in the league. His one-year tender as a restricted free agent is worth $2.79 million. ... For the record, Daniels is in line for a fine of almost $10,000 for missing the mandatory session while under contract. It's unclear if Daniels intends to skip all three days.
