An NFL executive familiar with the Giants' thinking told the Star-Ledger's Paul Needell he doesn't expect them to pursue Boldin if he is indeed put on the trading block.

As previously noted, Profootballtalk.com reported on Thursday the Cardinals are looking into trading Boldin, who is discontent with the two years he has left on his current contract. The Cardinals have denied the report, but PFT isn't alone in it's reporting that Boldin is being shopped. Earlier this week, SI.com's Peter King suggested the Eagles and Giants as possible landing spots. Needell is hearing the same despite the Giants denials.
