A source close to Cutler said he most likely will attend HC Josh McDaniels' first team meeting Monday and that the quarterback has considered selling his home for more than a year. Why? Because Cutler is a 25-year-old bachelor who has come to realize his 7,516-square-foot home that sits on a 1 1/2-acre spread is too big for a guy who lives alone.

For what it's worth, Post staffer Mike Klis characterizes the home as Cutler's "primary" residence -- something that refutes previous reporting. Whatever the case, we still tend to agree with Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio, who maintains the decision to put the home on the market just days after he was widely reported to be upset with the message sent during a conference call with McDaniels and management (on Monday) is hard not to view as a return shot at the Broncos. Florio also reminded readers this morning that Cutler's agent, James "Bus" Cook, knows a little something about QB vs. team controversies. Cook is also Brett Favre's agent.
