The Facts:
A league source tells us that the Cardinals are shopping Boldin to potential trade partners. Boldin is signed through 2010. He has wanted for roughly a year a significant increase from his current range of $2.5 million to $3 million. With teammate Larry Fitzgerald at $10 million per year, Boldin is believed to want at least $9 million annually.

As noted in this space on Wednesday, SI.com's Peter King advised readers the Eagles and Giants, two receiver-needy teams, are in position to deal for Boldin, who previously made his desire to move on known. King added: "I continue to say Boldin will not be a Cardinal by July. ..." Maybe King is right.
