McCareins, scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent next week, has re-signed with the Tennessee Titans. McCareins signed a one-year contract for $730,000, precluding him from testing the free-agent market when it begins next Friday.

Regarded as an effective possession-type receiver, McCareins was considered an offseason key for Tennessee officials. Keeping MCareins will provide some continuity to the Titans' passing game.
