The agent for Scaife said on Wednesday his client plans to test the open market when free agency begins. "We've had some discussions with the Titans regarding a contract for Bo and nothing is imminent at this point," agent Kevin Robinson said. ""I think it's fair for him to see what his value is in the league. We've advised him that that is what he should do."

Scaife, who led the team in receptions last season, is scheduled to become a free agent on Feb. 27. A sixth round draft pick by the Titans in 2006, Scaife had 58 catches for 561 yards and two touchdowns last season. Robinson said Scaife would like to return to Tennessee, and that the lines of communication with the team remain open. A year ago, Scaife played under a $1.47 million contract as a restricted free agent.
