Brandon Jacobs Raring To Go Against Eagles
(1/7 3:35 PT)

The Facts:
Jacobs on Wednesday said he is raring to go for Sunday’s divisional round matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. A pair of knee injuries had forced Jacobs to miss three of the last six games, including the regular-season finale, for the reigning Super Bowl champs. “The difference today is that I can go out and run full speed and I can make harder cuts,” Jacobs said. “I’m ready to go. I feel real good; I feel real good about our situation and where we are right now. I am just going to wait for the game to begin.” Reported by The Sports Ticker

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jacobs, who has rushed for 1,089 yards and 15 touchdowns, has been battling a sore left knee. He suffered the injury in a 20-14 loss to, ironically, the Eagles on December 7. After sitting out the following week’s loss to Dallas, Jacobs returned to the lineup and scored three touchdowns in an overtime win over Carolina that wrapped up the top seed in the NFC. “I’m wired. You have to think about it. I didn’t do anything for the past two weeks,” Jacobs said. Jacobs rushed for 52 yards on 10 carries in the previous meeting against Philadelphia before leaving with the injury.
