The Facts:
ESPN's Ed Werder, reporting on Pacman Jones' release in Dallas, added it's already a topic of discussion in Dallas as to whether Owens will be back. Werder said, “[T]here is a lot of internal debate about Owens, who’s viewed internally by some people as a descending player and a divisive force in the locker room, and the question is does his performance on the field justify some of the other problems he seems to be causing with players like Tony Romo and Jason Witten?”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Mike Florio suggested, it would be a stunning move, given that barely seven months ago the Cowboys signed him to a four-year, $34 million contract, with $12.9 million guaranteed. But the points Werder claims are being debated are clearly valid and worthy of any Owens-related discussion that might be underway at team headquarters.
