During his Monday morning press conference, HC Jim Zorn admitted that Clinton Portis is battling ankle and hip injuries but that the star tailback will play as usual this week. The team's VP of football operations, Vinny Cerrato, said the same of Santana Moss, who tweaked a hamstring.

The fact that Washington has a Monday game coming gives all involved an additional day of treatment. Portis has been playing -- and obviously playing quite well -- with the same injuries in recent weeks. Cerrato also suggested keeping Moss from getting back into that cycle of hamstring issues would be huge. The Redskins have a Week 10 bye.
