Chatman’s hard-luck season got a lot harder. The backup running back is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, HC Eric Mangini confirmed today.

Chatman was injured on a kickoff late in Sunday’s win over the Chiefs. He missed the first four games because of a league suspension for testing positive for a banned substance. It leaves the Jets with only three backs - Thomas Jones, Leon Washington and fullback Tony Richardson.
