Reggie Bush left Saturday night's win over the Bengals in the first half with an undisclosed injury that didn’t appear to be serious. He walked to the locker room briskly and didn’t return to the game.

Meanwhile, receiver Marques Colston was taken to the locker room early in the first half. Colston returned to the sidelines wearing street clothes in the second half, while Bush never returned. HC Sean Payton said after the game that Colston had bruised ribs; Bush a "charley horse. ..." Also: Jeremy Shockey has been held out of the Saints' first two preseason games as he recovers from a hamstring injury, but he has been practicing and it was believed he would make his first appearance for the Saints.
