According to NFL Network's Total Access, the flight scheduled to take Favre from Mississippi to Green Bay tonight has been canceled.

We'll go ahead and assume Favre won't be making the trip in that ginormous pickup truck he rolls around his hometown in. ... What does it mean? NFL Network insider Adam Schefter hinted that an issue we brought up a couple updates back -- this weekend's Hall of Fame festivities -- might be behind the timing. Had Goodell reinstated Favre today, the Packers would have 24 hours to release or activate him, putting them on a collision course with Saturday night’s Hall-of-Fame induction ceremonies in Canton, Ohio. ... Not that it makes much difference. As Profootballtalk.com's Michael David Smith suggests, even if Favre can’t report to camp tomorrow morning, unless the Packers agree to cut him or trade him, it’s only a matter of time before he does. So what happens? Schefter might have summed it up best: "This story has gone on for one full month -- and we might know less today about how it will wind up than we did in June." Stay tuned.
