His off-season demand for a new contract led some to speculate that Winslow would hold out, especially given the history of his new agent, Drew Rosenhaus. But Beacon Journal staffer Marla Ridenour notes that Winslow's level of participation is unsure after he underwent a procedure to clean out his right knee after the Pro Bowl.
