Chris Simms: Relationship With Gruden Broken
(6/9 6:48 PT)

The Facts:
Though he still has tremendous respect and feels great loyalty towards the Bucs owners and even their general manager, Bruce Allen, Simms can't say the same for his coach, Jon Gruden. Simms says he can "never" forgive Gruden for the way Gruden treated him last year while he was attempting to come back from his spleen injury and just wants to part ways with his coach. Reported by the Tampa Tribune

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to the Tribune, Simms doesn't deny that Gruden has taught him things he never knew or helped him develop as a quarterback, but Gruden treatment over the last year has soured Simms to the point where he just wants out of the Bucs organization. "It's an awesome sports town, a town that loves football. But the relationship between me and coach Gruden, it's broken. It just is, and I don't see any way it's going to get better again. ..." While the Bucs' plans at the position remain unclear, Simms' desire to move on isn't.
