It's not hard to find observers who believe this might be the final straw for Benson, but attorney Sam Bassett said his client "is not guilty of this latest charge" -- despite the fact that police claim to have videotape of Benson failing a sobriety test. Benson subsequently told a Chicago television station he "aced" the test. Bassett also said he, Benson and his agent talked to team officials during the weekend and earlier he acknowledged the team's likely irritation with Benson.
