Tatum Bell Setting His Sights High
(3/20 12:35 PT)

The Facts:
Bell is off and running as he tries to establish himself a second time as the Lions' starting tailback. And with that, Bell, a fifth-year pro, has set some lofty, yet "reachable" goals this season. "I think I can get 1,300 yards," Bell said Wednesday. "That's my goal -- at least 1,300, 15 touchdowns. I know it's reachable." Reported by the Detroit News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
We'll go ahead and remind you, Bell had 181 yards on 44 carries and one TD last season before being benched in favor of Kevin Jones in Week 5. But now that Jones is gone -- and with new OC Jim Colletto expected to focus more on the run -- Bell has reason to be optimistic. Detroit RBs coach Sam Gash, a former Pro Bowl fullback, thinks the new system and Bell's style make a good match. "Tatum possesses a lot of qualities that an NFL runner needs," Gash said. "He has good size (213 pounds). He's fearless in the sense that he'll block for you. He's been a successful back in the NFL." The question is, can Bell avoid injury?
