Klecko, who has been a defensive lineman, linebacker and fullback over five NFL seasons, will try to make the 2008 Eagles as a fullback.

The Eagles are expected to announce today that they have signed Klecko, 27, to a 1-year deal. He will compete with Jason Davis, who spent the 2007 season on the Eagles practice squad, for the position that formerly belonged to Thomas Tapeh. The Eagles didn't try to retain Tapeh, who signed with the Vikings as a free agent.
