The Facts:
Adam Schefter of NFL Network just reported that the Seahawks are going to sign Jones tonight. This very well could be the end of Shaun Alexander's career in Seattle.

The move immediately calls into question Alexander’s status with the team. As Profootballtalk.com first reported two weeks ago, there were rumors at the NFL Scouting Combine that Alexander could be released. Since then, the Seahawks have signed T.J. Duckett and now Jones. Alexander is signed through 2013, and is due to earn a salary in excess of $5.5 million in 2008. PFT's Florio further suggests Maurice Morris, who is due to earn a salary of $1 million in 2008, is also at risk.
