Talks between the Titans and Crumpler picked up in recent days and the two sides were able to agree to terms on a deal. Some issues have to be worked out before the deal becomes official.

Crumpler, if healthy, is expected to bring an extra dimension to a Titans' offense that's so far made no other additions in free agency. GM Mike Reinfeldt said last week the team is satisfied with Crumpler's physical condition after giving him a physical last month. Still, there were rumors the Seahawks were worried about the veteran's knee after his visit in Seattle. Crumpler struggled with nagging knee issues last season.
