The signing comes after a two-day visit in which Turner spent considerable time with owner Arthur Blank -- know as "the Closer" at team headquarters. He lived up to the nickname this time. ... As previously noted, Turner is the kind of punishing back HC Mike Smith and OC Mike Mularkey desire. Look for the former Charger to take the lead spot with Jerious Norwood working in a complimentary role. Incumbent Warrick Dunn is expected to be released if Turner is signed.
