The Facts:
The silence is deafening. Still no word on Moss. No word on if the Patriots have the free agent wide receiver locked up, or if anyone else has already whispered in Moss' ear and promised dollar signs that will easily trump what Bill Belichick and Scott Pioli had in mind. There's radio silence. The Pats aren't talking. Moss' camp isn't talking. And if any teams are making a play for him or have set up visits for him they're not broadcasting the moves.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Herald staffer Karen Guregian wondered: "Wouldn't you think if Dallas owner Jerry Jones or Washington boss Daniel Snyder were going to shower Moss with cash and woo him away from the Pats, someone would know about it -- or, at least, find out about it?" Still, there hasn't been much in the way of specific speculation. The most recent reports still indicate that Moss and the Pats are nowhere near having a deal and Moss is listening to others. The question: Who are they? Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio is suggesting this morning the Eagles could make a play. Dallas, the Jets and Denver have also turned up in various reports. But there's nothing concrete. ... Yet.
