In one of their first free-agent visits, the Broncos were bringing in Panthers WR Colbert on Friday.

Colbert had 32 catches for Carolina last season. The USC product's best season was his rookie year in 2004 when he had 47 catches. With Javon Walker released, Denver is looking for a No. 2 receiver. Brandon Stokley will be the No. 3 receiver. Post staffer Bill Williamson also suggests the could use their first-round pick, No. 12 overall, on a receiver such as Cal's DeSean Jackson.
