The Facts:
Dan Orlovsky and Drew Stanton will get a chance to compete for the No. 1 job, but Kitna goes into the off-season as the starter, HC Rod Marinelli said Sunday. "Jon's going to start for us," said Marinelli. "I'm going to say that each and every day. He's got leadership and intelligence, and he's a good quarterback. We've got to make sure we're bringing these guys along, too. We've got to get young quarterbacks behind him."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Kitna has started all 32 games the last two seasons. The issue of his status first arose when Jim Colletto was promoted to OC and said there would be competition for the job. But Marinelli compared Kitna's status to a boxing champion. He'll have to lose his title by a knockout. "It's like with our veteran players that come in, no question," Marinelli said.
