Urban is a restricted free agent, and the club will offer him a tender by the deadline at the end of the week. "He made progress with us, you don't want to lose that progress." Maybe not, but Urban needs to cut down on dropped passes to be a realistic candidate to move into the No. 3 spot. According to the Sports Xchange, Merritt has some skills but spent last year on injured reserve.
