As noted in a
previous item, HC Rood Marinelli isn't in a rush to get rid of Williams, who missed the last four games with an injured right knee. The coach told reporters last month he still has high expectations for the former first-rounder. Williams, 26, who caught 54 passes for 817 yards and eight TDs, has one year left on his contract and can become a free agent after the 2008 season.
