Leaner Deuce McAllister Quicker Than Ever
(7/13 4:54 PT)

The Facts:
According to ESPN.com's John Clayton, after Deuce Staley gained 1,388 yards in 2002 weighing 242 pounds, head coach Jim Haslett suggested that his star halfback lose two pounds a season to enhance his quickness. McAllister gained 1,641 yards last year weighing 240 and has consistently showed up this offseason weighing 238 and looking quicker than ever. Reported by ESPN.com

Diehards Line:

Rob Zarzycki's View:
I'm not a professional trainer, but is there really a difference between 238 and 240 pounds? If it's true that McAllister is "quicker than ever" then he'll be a huge force to reckon with. Last year McAllister was the 4th best overall RB.
