Competition At FB Will Be Intense
(7/13 10:16 PT)

The Facts:
Fullback Jarrod Baxter appears to be fully recovered from the foot injury that sidelined him all of last season. Now he'll have to win his starting job back. After Baxter went down in the preseason, the Texans replaced him with Moran Norris, who emerged as a solid blocker and has impressed the coaching staff with his work ethic. The position battle could be one of the most interesting in camp. Reported by The Sports XChange (via USA Today)

Diehards Line:

Rob Zarzycki's View:
Norris' blocking skills helped pave the way for Dominick Davis' phenomenal rookie season as a RB. It will be interesting to see if 1) Baxter re-emerges as the starting FB and, if so, 2) will this affect Davis' chemistry. On another note, both Norris and Baxter aren't much of a runner or a receiver. So don't expect the winner of this battle to appear in any fantasy standings.
